12th December 2015, Saturday was the long-anticipated annual Christmas Party for our elderly at 318A. Christmas Fun Fun Fun this year has more game booths than the previous year and we even have a haircut station! We first started with ukulele, choir and dance performances by volunteers and children from the Love Your Neighbour Interest Groups before everyone did a Christmas work-out to the tune of “Jingle Bells”. It is heartening to witness the joyous atmosphere of the carnival, where elderly exercised alongside youthful volunteers. All of us then proceeded to the game booths and we had great fun playing the games while enjoying cheerful conversations over popcorn and other refreshments. We are honoured to be able to bring the Christian spirit of charity and compassion to needy elderly in this festive season. The event marks an exciting end to our fruitful year of service at 318A and we wish for many more such years to come!
