Light and Love Charity (LLC) would like to thank its friends and volunteers for their support in its recent charity dinner.
LLC held its second charity dinner on 8 April 2017 in a private club house. More than 50 members and friends gathered for this recent charity dinner, with the purpose of supporting the needy children in Myanmar. This included the families of LLC’s members and professionals from various fields, such as education, banking, medicine, and electronics.
The dinner culminated with a speech by Mr. Samuel Lai, LLC’s President, who introduced Light and Love’s charity works in both Nepal and Myanmar. Videos illustrating the impact of our charity efforts on the lives of the locals in both countries were screened. The evenings highlight was a sharing by 7 volunteers on their experiences in conducting charity works in developing countries. Despite their varying ages, these volunteers shared similar sentiments on how their participation in these charity efforts brought blessings and changes not only to the beneficiaries lives, but more so to their very own lives.
All proceeds from the charity dinner will be channeled towards the Myanmar project. Once again, we would like to extend our sincere gratitude to all our volunteers and friends who have attended this dinner, and to all who have continually supported LLC’s charity efforts.
