Myanmar Clothing and Blanket Drive

September 20, 2017

Light and Love Charity is going to provide humanitarian assistance in response to an urgent request from New Eden Charity Foundation, our local NGO partner in Myanmar, to help the homeless refugees in Rakhine State of Myanmar. New Eden Charity Foundation is a legally registered non- profit organization serving all Burmese regardless of race or religion. The recent inter-communal conflict in Rakhine State has made hundreds of thousands of people homeless. Many of them now live in Internally Displaced Peoples (IDP) camps in Myanmar. Light and Love Charity, in partnership with New Eden, seek your material support to help the refugees face such a difficult moment. We appreciate your kind support to our clothing and blanket drive. We accept clothing for children and adults, and blankets. Our local partner, New Eden will take full responsibility to monitor the whole distribution of materials to the refugees. The details regarding the collection of donated materials are listed on the guidelines sheet. For further enquiry, please email us atLLC-sg@lightandlovehome.org.
